### When will I get my signs?

An Estimated Delivery Date is calculated in our online shopping cart. Once you have everything in your cart, enter your zip code and the shipping calculator will give you an estimated delivery date.

- We provide THREE free proof revisions per order which can add time to your turnaround.
- For expedited orders, add a rush from below the shipping options in your cart.
- Please keep in mind, orders placed after 3 PM (CST) will count as an order for the next day.

### How much is shipping?

To receive an estimated quote for shipping:

1. Go to Yard Signs, Banners, Magnets, or All Products and select "Price It" options including quantity and size.
2. For custom products, complete "Design It" options too, but you can get away with the bare minimum info to get through.
3. "Add to Cart" will put your product in the "Buy It" section, or "Shopping Cart."
4. Repeat as needed to enter all desired products into "Shopping Cart."
5. Choose shipping method, enter your zip code, and click "UPDATE SHIPPING."

Your shipping cost will be immediately calculated for you! Shipping costs are determined by the number of boxes, total weight, destination zip code, shipping method, and specifics related to your address (i.e. residential or commercial). This order info is communicated directly to the UPS database, where the exact total is returned. Due to volume, we receive a reasonable discount from UPS which we pass along directly to you.

### What is the set-up charge for a sign order?

We do not charge setup fees. Occasionally, if you are adding a logo or graphic and do not have a "Print-Ready" file there may be an art fee but we will try to offer a free version first. If you have questions about whether your file is "Print-Ready," contact us and someone will get back to you as soon as possible.

### Can I get a sample or proof of my sign before you print them?

YES. We require your proof approval BEFORE the order goes into production.

- We keep our prices low and service high by proofing AFTER an order is placed and payment complete. Once your order is processed, a professional designer will create a proof of your order.
- We offer THREE free proof revisions. After that, an additional charge of $15.00 per proof may apply. Customers must review and APPROVE proof online before the order goes into production.

### How do I mount my signs?

Corrugated plastic signs can be mounted in a variety of ways, but most people mount them on wood stakes, telephone poles, or metal stakes (H-wires or Step Stakes). The plastic sign has lines or "flutes" that run either horizontally or vertically.

You must request that your signs have vertical flutes if you want to mount them on H-wires. This is the default setting on our ordering page. Horizontal flutes are better for wood stakes because the sign is less likely to fold in the wind. You can attach the signs to wood stakes with a staple gun, but we recommend using roofing nails that include a plastic washer to keep the sign from tearing.

### Can I add a logo or other graphic image to my sign?

Yes, we can add your logo or other graphic to your sign, but we require it to be a vector graphic converted to outlines or curves. Common vector formats include:

- AI (Adobe Illustrator)
- EPS (Encapsulated PostScript)
- PDF (Portable Document Format)
- SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics)

Files in .jpg or .gif format, especially graphics copied off the internet, are raster or bitmapped files and may not produce the best results for screen printing. They can be used for digitally printed products.

### How long do yard signs last?

Coroplast (corrugated plastic) cheap yard signs last several months outdoors, while aluminum signs can last for years with proper care.

Yes! Double-sided yard signs increase visibility from all angles.

Because every custom sign order is made just for you, we cannot accept returns on custom orders. However, you may return stock items in their original condition within 10 days of delivery for a refund of the product price. Return shipping costs and a $25 restocking fee apply.

### Mistake by Super Cheap Signs?

Mistakes happen, and when it is our fault, Super Cheap Signs is happy to redo your order at no additional charge to you. We will ask for you to return the order in question (at our expense) and may also request pictures of the error. It is the prerogative of Super Cheap Signs to offer a discount on the mistaken order, should you, the customer, be interested in keeping the mistaken order.

## File Types & Artwork

At Super Cheap Signs, we offer two types of printing processes for your custom signs: screen printing and digital printing. Each process has different requirements for the file types and formats that you need to provide.

### Screen Printing

Screen printing is a process that uses a mesh screen and ink to transfer an image onto a material. Screen printing is ideal for 1-3 color 4mm corrugated plastic signs 24"x32" or smaller (Yard Signs), in quantities of 25 or more. Screen printing produces vibrant and durable colors that can withstand outdoor conditions.

To create a screen for screen printing, you need to provide vectorized artwork. Vector art is created using mathematical formulas to define shapes and colors, which allows it to be scaled to any size without losing quality. Accepted vector file types:

- Illustrator (.AI) -- preferred
- Vector (.EPS)
- PDF

If you want to use colors that are not in the standard palette, you can request an upgrade to PMS (Pantone Matching System) match.

### Digital Printing

Digital printing is a process that uses a printer and ink to print an image directly onto a material. Digital printing is suitable for almost everything else, such as banners, magnets, stickers, and more. Digital printing can produce high-quality images with unlimited colors and details.

For digital printing, consider the DPI (Dots Per Inch) of your image. The higher the DPI, the better the quality. 72 dpi is a reasonable minimum for signs. Accepted raster file types:

### Standard Colors (Screen Printing)

1-3 color designs go through the screen printing process. Screen printing uses mesh stencils and solid ink colors to create stunning, crisp imagery at a cost-effective price point. Unlike conventional printers which mix inks before laying them down, screen printing lays one solid color down at a time in a layering process to produce a final image.

### Full Color (Digital Printing)

If screen printing isn't enough to suit your needs, full color printing options cover any and all designs submitted to the production team with as many colors as you need.

### Color Matching Services

Colors falling outside of the Standard Color chart must be hand-mixed by print technicians. For 1-3 color designs requiring specific colors, you can add a PMS color service item and specify the PMS code you choose. If no code is provided, the closest printable approximation will be mixed. We use the Pantone Matching System - Solid Coated (PMS-C) Formula Guide.

### Important Notes

- 1-3 color options are unable to produce images containing gradients, grayscale/full color photographs or images, or full bleed.
- Full Bleed: Artwork background must be separate, vector, or sent half an inch larger than the size of media ordered. Full bleed is not available on any sizes smaller than 18x24 (i.e., 6x24, 9x24, 12x18, etc.).
- Consider the "ten-foot rule" in sign design: most signs are viewed from a distance of ten feet or more, so contrast and clarity are most important.

## Order Process

Here are the steps followed by the Super Cheap Signs team once an order has been created:

### 1. SCS Action

Now in the hands of the design team, Super Cheap Signs (SCS) will review the order and prepare the proof for the customer, or for PRINT AS SHOWN items, ready the file for production. Also known as "electronic pre-press."

- Standard duration: One business day or less
- Rush duration: 1-2 business hours

### 2. Proof Review

Another designer reviews that the design is in line with requirements from the customer. This is an internal "double check." PRINT AS SHOWN orders go straight to "Proof Approved."

- Duration: 5-30 minutes

### 3. Customer Action Required

The proof is now in the hands of the customer. Approval of both product details and design is required. If a proof update is requested (proof NOT approved), the item goes back to SCS Action.

### 4. Proof Approved

The production team will now review and put the order into the production queue.

- Standard duration: 1 day
- Rush duration: 5-30 minutes

### 5. Production

Physical prepress, printing, and finishing (trimming, cutting, adding grommets, etc.).

- Standard duration: 3-6 days
- Rush duration: As fast as one day after proof approval

### 6. Staging

Item is now being packaged and prepared to ship or moved to bins for pickup.

### 7. Pickup / Complete

Item is complete once picked up or the shipping label has been created and loaded for delivery. Expect an email with tracking info by end of day. Shipping tracking number should now be available.

### 8. Hold

Items on HOLD are pending further information before continuing. Contact Customer Service ASAP if you haven't been contacted already.

### 9. Cancelled

This item has been cancelled and will not be produced. It can be re-ordered but may raise questions from the team. This is a permanent state and cannot be undone.

### How to Design Your Own Customized Signs Online

If you are not using our sign editor to design your sign, follow these steps:

1. Go to the "proofing" page on our website at https://www.supercheapsigns.com/proofing (available for new or returning customers).
2. Select the option that says "Send Me a Proof Before Printing" and then check the box titled "Check to upload files and add design notes."
3. Describe how you want your product to look, including the colors, text, images, and any other information it should contain.
4. If you have a simple mockup or hand-drawn sketch -- or any images you want to appear on your sign -- drag and drop them into the upload files field.
5. Once descriptions are complete and files have been included, click the "Continue" button and you'll be directed to a page where you can select from available materials, sizes, and other printing options.

### Tips for Specific Products

**Yard Signs:** Typically printed on corrugated plastic or aluminum. We recommend plastic yard signs for high-volume orders and aluminum for smaller orders where you want to reuse the signs repeatedly. The most popular size is 18x24 (standard), and 12x18 signs are also popular for bulk purchases. Available in single-sided (cheaper) or double-sided (great for intersections or foot traffic). Don't forget wire stakes for plastic signs or sign frames for aluminum.

**Vinyl Car Decals:** Full-color, digitally printed vinyl decals are the most popular choice. Select "vinyl sticker (printed)" from the material drop-down and select a standard or custom size.

**Banners:** Come in vinyl or mesh. Available in various standard sizes or custom sizes. Digitally printed in full color, so you can use photos or complex graphics.

### Customer Responsibilities

3. You are responsible for approving your proof online. We cannot move your order into production unless your proof has been approved by you.
4. Understand that repeated design changes and complex art setups may result in additional charges -- we stay cheap because our design costs are low, so help us keep it super cheap!

### Payment, Cancellations and Other Processing Fees

We charge your credit card the moment you order online and confirm that in a confirmation email auto-generated by our website. This helps us keep our prices Super Cheap!

If our "Design Services Dept." was used, a proof will be generated and require approval before moving into production. If you need to make any changes to your order, please call 866-270-7446 or 512-833-9900 for assistance.

We reserve the right to assess fees to any order or line item cancellations for services rendered. Cancellations will include a minimum of a 5% fee and possible service fees ranging from $5 up to $60, depending on the status of the order in production.

### Turnaround Time

We meet or exceed expectations 99% of the time, but production times are estimated and not guaranteed. If our Design Services are used, the proof will require approval before moving into production. Proofs not approved by the customer will likely result in increased turnaround time.

RUSH orders cost extra, and we guarantee completion dates. We are not responsible for UPS time-in-transit estimates. UPS does not guarantee delivery time with UPS Ground, so we recommend upgrading to RUSH if your order is time-sensitive.

A key factor in turnaround time is Proofing. Once a proof has been uploaded to a customer's online profile, an automated email is sent to remind customers to log in and "approve" the proof. Super Cheap Signs is not responsible for orders delayed due to a customer not approving their proof.

### Canceling Orders Before They've Been Completed

Please be aware that it may not be possible to cancel your order once your signs are in production. If your circumstances have changed, the Super Cheap Signs staff will make every effort to stop your order as quickly as possible to minimize your expense. In rare circumstances, when it is determined to be in the best interest of all parties, we reserve the right to cancel or refund a customer's order, less any fees for services rendered. We process refunds once a week.

### Exchange Policy

Because every custom sign order is made just for you, we cannot accept exchanges. However, stock items may be exchanged for store credit if items are in original condition and a request is made in writing (email) within 5 days of delivery or pickup. Return shipping and a $25 restocking fee apply.

### Changes to Your Order During Proofing

The primary purpose for proofing is for you to approve the final design of your order before moving the order to production. If changes to the text or layout of your custom sign are needed after receiving your proof, there will be no additional charge for the first 3 proofs. Additional proofs are an additional $15 per proof. Changing the size, colors, quantity, or any graphic design work may accrue fees.

### Changes to Your Order After Proof Approval

It is possible that once your order has reached a certain point in production, changes may not be possible. If changes to the text or layout of your custom sign are needed AFTER the PROOF APPROVAL, a minimum $60 pre-press charge will apply and we will do our best to work with you to meet your needs.
